Stuck on midi controller set-up, No Sound!

Hello guys,
I'm totally stuck trying to get my controller to produce sound in Cubase le4.
The midi in light,on my interface,lights up when you key the keyboard , and the meters are coming up in cubase, but no sound..what am I missing?
I'm using a Tascam us-144 and M-audio keyrig49, Thanks in advance, Gord

Problem solved..If you push enough buttons, you eventually find one that does something..As soon as I turned on Halion..Eureka! Sound! And before I knew it, it was 2:30 in the morning...Someone said you loose sleep when you get into recording..Oh well
