String Gauges?

Was wondering if 52-10 string gauges is heavy enough to hold a standard C tuning? I use this for standard D, but was wondering if I need heavier ones to hold the tuning, and intonation? Any thoughts? I do not have a baritone guitar....an Ibanez RG custom. Thanks for any help

Why don't you numetal/thrash/death metal guys just play 6 string basses instead of guitars? Wouldn't that accomplish your goal more effectively?

go with 11s, only girls use 10s... jk.
but seriously, go with 11s, the 10s will be way too lose after detuning that much.
