I have a Soundblaster Audigy 2 and it has a line, mic and digital IN. They are the small inputs though. Like the size of the connetor for MINI DISC headphones, comprende?
Does going from a larger say XLR cable to the miniture size inputs on the Audigy 2 mean that much sound quality is lost or much unwanted noise is gained?
What im really asking is do you need a special soundcard that has XLR and TRS 1/4 " inputs to ensure good quality recordings with minimal noise, compared to a card with the mini inputs?
