Rockin' & Rollin'
I bought out a company's stock of 1/4" SM900 tape a few months ago, and now have close to 30 reels. It will be awhile before I get to use all of them, if I even ever get to that point.

My question is, what is the best way to store tape that I won't be using for awhile? It's brand new tape. Should I shrinkwrap it in the box? Or should I just let it be and hope for the best when I eventually get to it, which may take a few years?

Thanks,
-MD

Follow the same safe storage practices that you would for any tape.

Keep it in a temperature stable environment around 70 degrees, moderate humidity 40 - 50%, on edge, in sealed bags, away from sources of magnetism, dust, excessive vibration and out of direct sun light.

Cheers! :)
