Yeah, thanks! This is fun stuff. :D

Alrighty, I used Dogman's original vocal track to remove any double drums and did some more mastering on the whole mix. What you think? Any ideas or suggestions on the mix or anything?

It lives here: ;)

Cool can I try the vox on Immigrant song? :o :)

Sure man! Lets all give it our try, see what happens! Well I'm drunk now too, so I tried recorded it and it turned out like some hardcore immigrant song on the beach or something  I don't know, but there's some serious screaming on those vocals though, love it! Alrighty guys, I'll post it in the next few days when I get a verson close enough to the original ready.

Rami, did you want to try the drum track on this one? I'm recording over a looping beat right now. I could send you that beat in advance and you know how the song goes, or you just want me to send my version when it's ready without the drums?

I probably don't make any sense right now :D :D

Hey guys, for anyone who's interested in doing The Immigrant Song with me... I was playing around with it last night and thought I'd post a 1 clip of a rough demo before I record the rest of it for a backing track for vocals or better drums or so.

Do you like this edgier instrumentation? Or you think I should tone it down a bit for more of the classic 70s "Zepplin sound?"

These demo vox are very rough & maybe even scary at points, just there to see what it sounds like  I'm sure a bunch of you could do them better :D

Man, I love this edgier version.....It has a modern/hard rock vibe. I like the tones you chose. I'd love to do this one, and see what happens.... :D
Ed

That's cool...I wouldn't tone it down at all. That's really cool. The drums don't even need to be changed, they sound good too. I can definitely hear Doggie singing some parts, or all, of it. Maybe bring up the bass or make the bass follow the riff. Good shite.

Cool guys, glad you like it. Yeah this was a killer song to record, a lot of fun.

I'll record the rest of the song tonight and hopefully post the voxless version later tonight for anyone who wants to give it a shot :D

So this Australian General is talking to his troops at war, and he says "Did we come here to die???" and one of his troops answers "NO SIR!!! WE CAME HERE YESTER-DIE!!!"

Good stuff right there!

Alrighty guys, here it is. The voxless full version. It's not fully mastered or anything, but I figure if this track needs work it's easily replaceable with new versions.

The format of the song for vocals should be the same as the original. The only reason it's a minute longer than the original is that I added a minute guitar jam demo thingy at the end. It was a free jam so I'll either go back and clean it up or rerecord it or just cut it, either way it shouldn't effect the vocal part of the track.

Enjoy :D
