Still music to vocal lag?

Hello,
I was having problems with this a while back and up untill now I have been mixing the vocals into the music sentance at a time. and its very time consuming. I know there must be some way to sync it up.

I tried:
Converting both audio to same formate (first wav than mp3)
making the vocals from mono to stereo
tried faster USB (2.0)

But still no luck...

This is what im using:
Zoom MRS-4 recorder
Yamaha MG10/2
CAD Large Condenser Mic
and of course my Sony SmartMedia card reader

I use Adobe Audition to mix them.

Any suggestions?

Why are you mixing with mp3s?
You prob isn't clear - is there a timing problem? A latency problem?

Ok well When I mix the vocals to instrumentals, the begining will be fine but as it goes on, it becomes more and more unsynced. I usally mix with wav. why is that wrong? idk im new to this..
