I'm not seeing anything for this thread. Maybe the post didn't go through correctly, but I'm guessing you're looking for a stereo microphone for your camcorder?
Check out www.soundprofessionals.com. They have a pretty good selection. Depending what you're looking for singlepoint stereo, cardiod or omni stereo. 1/4 mini stereo plug or xlr. You'd want to talk to Chris Carfagno. He caters a lot to live show tapers.
He helped me pick out a set for my MD live recording rig. They can easily be adapted for camcorder use. Anyhow, I hope that's what you were looking for.
There are adapters available so you can use a stereo T bar with a threaded camera type mount or accessory shoe mount . I know some of the built mics in a lot camcorders are prone to pick up the tape motor/machine noise.
Another thing to consider if you get a mini condenser is that they require phantom power, something like 4.5 - 9V. I don't remember exactly. Again, ask Chris he'd be more knowledgable on that. So a battery box or small preamp would be something to consider also, if your camcorder requires a line level signal.
I hope this helps
Just want to say hello to all in this great forum. I've been lurking around for awhile, and finally have something to contribute
