Is there some kind of step-sequencer sample player plug-in avaliable for cakewalk? I'm looking for some kind of Fruity loops type thing so I can use it within cakewalk's multitrack environment.
The only step sequencer that comes to mind is Massiva Energy VSTi (http://www.webmassiva.com/energy). It is quite limited in its functionality tho. However, if you upgrade to Sonar you will be able to access Reason via rewire, and Reason has a better step sequencer among other things. Besides, the new Fruity Loops 3.5 will be VSTi compatible, which means that you'll be able to access it from Cake via a VST wrapper.
