Hey yall,

I recently bought a Cl1 Audio Interface (as it says on the box lol) and an Apex 435 Mic. I plugged the Cl1 (usb) installed the driver, plugged in the mic but I can't seem to record anything, like there is no input com. Also, when I checked the windows volume control, it shows the Stienberg category but it has no devices under the "record" catergory.

I'm using a regular PC, xp windows, I have no pre-amp (could that be the problem?).

I added two photos that will hopefuly make it easier for you guys to help me.

:( :( :(

did you check their site to make sure you had the newest driver?

What software are you trying to record with? I assume Cubase, but we got to start somewhere. The C1 has a built in pre-amp, so that's not the problem. Your mic and the C1 are all you need. It's a setting we need to get to.You should be checking in the DAW software, not windows.

Check your setting in your I/O options within your DAW. Most interfaces won't work as you main I/O for windows, but still will work fine in the DAW.
