Starting own record label

How about this...

we'll all get a few guys that are much better than us, more experienced, and more motivated, to rap the majority of the verses on our albums. then we can slip one of our far-less-than-mediocre tracks in the mix somewhere so we can call it "our" mixtape. Then, and only then, we will have an "official release party" for every mixtape that "we" made, sell it to all the yuppies at the local middle school and high school, and at the friday night football games (maybe even at the after parties!!). we'll keep 1/4 of the profits to keep our greedy little mitts satisfied for a while, and do it all again next week or month. that way we can make a name for ourselves and not really do anything. now THAT'S marketing. *rolls eyes*

sound like a plan?? who's with me?!!?
 
well. um. i was thinking about just burning a compilation cd of some famous rappers and putting one song into it of my own.

copyright infringment? much...

then i'll take the profits and buy an ounce of cocaine and all of my clients have to sell it for me otherwise i drop the contract on them.
 
Poppin Paul!!! You've got to relax with the exclamation marks!!! It starts looking pretty stupid after a while!!!! And it's not very convincing!!! Kind of the equivelant of some fool shouting in your face and not really saying anything!!! actually, this is one of the best sites for home recording. im 16 too, and these guys are typically older..

see if you had any real knowledge or skill, you would post in the real sections of this forum and learn something, or even help someon else out.

and if you keep posting like that, you can guarantee yourself to get banned.
