Malaysia though, I know, its kinda a 3rd world country

Reaper is definitely my first recommendation, although it's not really free. It's free to try for 30 days, and it remains fully functional after the trial period but with a nag screen. It's $60 for a full license, and totally worth every penny.

There are a few free options that I can think of off the top of my head:
- Presonus Studio One Prime
- Avid Pro Tools First
- Tracktion 5 Free

These are all stripped down versions of their respective product lines, but should be fine for any beginner to get started and do some basic recording projects.

So i downloaded reaper, went to youtube or some website and i teach myself but still doesn't understand, though i do understand a lil bit but not that much, can u somehow recommend me any website that have some songs that could pretty much do atleast a few remix of it, its ok if you doesn't want, ill try to find it myself

Cool!

Keep working with the software (Reaper) and the tutorials you can find. You will figure it out man. It just takes some time to learn. :)

Best to you.

I agree Reaper is probably the best DAW in the long run but do try the demo of MAGIX's Samplitude Pro X, you might just find it easier to grasp? These things are very personal.

If you find you like Sam Px you can download a free version Samplitude Pro X Silver. Limited to 8 tracks but pretty good. Gives you an excellent and free MP3 (and other formats) encoder.

Given your limited access to technology I strongly suggest you learn some basic electronics and soldering skills of you don't already have them.

Dave.

umm... do you guys somehow know where can I buy MIDI keyboard (yes, I know theres bunch of website for me), I don't....really have any card to purchase online and I've been trying to search any place around where I live but still unable to find one

Can you or someone you know write a cheque? I suppose some mail order firms will still accept them?

We have "Postal Orders" here still.

Dave.

Well, yes. But do you recommend buying the software first or MIDI? cuz its kinda expensive, like seriously cuz I don't know any good MIDI .It's FL studio btw, I don't know if the signature or the editor one is better though, but is it better to buy the editor then get the missing part that the editor version doesn't have?

Sorry again, how do i make the note pops out when I'm playing the piano and instead of using recording and wait until I'm done then it shows (FL studio btw)

Do you now have a keyboard? To hear things as you play you need an Audio Interface. There is one built into every PC and mac but it is dreadful, especially so for your purpose since there will be an almighty lag between hitting a key and hearing a sound. This is called "Latency" and is a whole other subject on its own.

If you DO have an external AI please give make and model.

Dave.

EDIT: Nvm those btw, I have another question about FL studio, I've searched it online but can't find the answer. When I open a plugin for example Massive, I click on the arrow icon and I want to add it into plugin database but the option is grey out, I don't know why
