I have been playing music (guitar & bass mostly) for forty years, with band experience. I am not computer ignorant but I have not had success trying to record with software. I did some home recording with a tascam 4 track @ 15 or twenty yrs ago, but I found the process slow and cumbersome. Also, I am interested nowadays in printing lead sheets and sheet music for "C" "Eb" and "Bb" instruments for my current band. How do I get started now? I use a Dell PC. What software and hardware do I need. I want both sound and printed music. Thanks.
