Hi all, I'm after some advice.
I'm considering starting my own 'micro' record label, specialising in 'less commercial' music. Mail order, website, CD-R based, with CDs burned as and when required (all burning and printing done at home).
This is purely for the love of it - I wouldn't expect to be hugely commercially successful, more of a cottage industry. I'd (of course!) release my own stuff and other artists.
Anyone else doing anything like this? How do you find suitable artists? Any advice or tips?
