Decided to record the practice i had with the band i play drums in for church every couple sundays, so that we could just remember the structures of the song for this sunday

it is christian rock , i hope you guys dont mind

was just surprised how it came out for a live jam in the same medium/small room. did some processing to the drums but not much else, apart from some reverbs

Not bad for just a capture of practice.
It sounds a little veiled and cloudy in the vocals.

Was it multitracked or just a live stereo take?

I enjoyed the song.

yeah it was multitracked hey

yeah vocals have never been my strong point hey :) so i just left them raw except for some reverb. Compression and EQ on the kick and snare, and then just the verb on the vox and guitar.

thanks man =]

Cool,
Yeah maybe a slight cut at around 330-400 hz on the vocal and possibly a slight boost around 5000hz will clear it up.

Good job.
Oh...this is a personal preference...but the bass guitar could come up a tad.

Sounds surprisingly good for a live take. Not into the genre that much though. Retrack the vocal for better intonation and clarity and you've got a fine recording.
