Easiest way to do that in Sound Forge is:
- Drop markers on exact points where you want to set track numbers. Fine tune it and make sure you hit zero-crossing. Also drop markers on the beginning and the end of the wave
- Go to "Special/Regions List/ Markers to Regions". It will define regions in between every two markers. Names of regions are very stupid. Change 'em if you want.
- Now go to "Tools/Extract Regions". Give him desired path and...voila. It automaticaly saves regions as separate files! Done in 5 minutes, or even less (depending upon your skill of finding exact marker spots).

I'm not so regular on this forum, but when I have a chance to drop something that can be of any use to others... he he...
It's interesting situation! I thought that everyone figured out what can "extract regions" command in menu mean. I even hesitated to answer cause I wasn't reading every post on this topic. I presumed that someone said it allready and I'll end up being dumb ass.
Okay ppl, any other tricky question on using audio software?
