Just wondering if anyone else out there experience song drag after they've recorded a complete song. Many times I will create a song while recording and lay down multiple guitar tracks along with midi tracks. The song will sound correct for te tempo I've chose, I'll listen to the song the standard 250 times in a single evening and then gete up, go to work, hear the song repeat in my head all day, come home fire up the computer and then something happens. The tempo the song has been running in my mind is much faster than I actually recorded it at. This drives me crazy.

Well, I did switch to Pepsi. That didn't seem to help. Could be the crack.

That's pretty normal,

just go and listen to any coverband outthere. Ask them to play any song from their repertoire, and play the original afterwards. 99 out of 100 will be covered much to fast. It's just human nature.

Ask a drummer to play a rhythm for a couple of minutes an put a metronome to measure his bpm (don't let him hear it). No drummer will stay constant. they all will speed up.
