im trying to work on my drum micing technique...
mics:
2- SM57's
1- SP b1
2- mxl 603's
1- beta 52a
2-cad 22
of course i have the 2 603's as overheads ( still having a hard time finding good placements for those ) 1 of the 57s on the snare, beta on the kick..
but im finding that i really cant get a good balance of high hats and toms together , along with cybmals....
now im not using the 2 cad 22 mics, the b1, and another 57... would it be wise to throw one of those up on the high hat ? or toms ? what do you think ?
