I`m sure that with the multi-millions they have swept in worldwide off all the nickel and dime products, they could afford to concentrate on a particular line and bring it up to par as to "state-of-the-art" dedicated audio recording and playback sound cards.

Their cards were not intended for music production,just gaming at first but after they were approached by musicians about the cards potential I think they included them in their advertizing,frustrating many people on a low budget.When I get into serious sampling in about a year I'm probably going to go with the new 1820 card simply because I'm used to the Creative-Emu stuff.

Products put out by Ensoniq and E-Mu after they were bought out by Creative are pure S-H-I-T.
I'll continue to give my money to M-Audio instead. At least they know who they are and what their customers want.
