yes its from recording out/phones of the roland

the sound out of the headphones sound ok, i will be more than happy if i get that sound. The volume is not too high either.

I will try tweaking the level settings.

Is there a way i can better whatever sound i get? I mean, can a improve the sound quality by any means?

trying using a mike on the cube instead of going through the 'record out'.

thx

thx for all the help, i'll try using ur tips and see how it goes.

If you get a PCI sound card or an external USB or firewire interface designed for audio recording, it replaces the computer's internal soundcard, but performs all the functions that the internal sound card did (such as reproducing the sund andmusic for games and whatever). You hookup your speakers to this instead of going out of the back of the onboard soundcard.

Thanks...that is kind of what I was looking for...do the primary sound card and the interface work together or does the interface replace the card. I borrowed a friends MobilePre last night, and got my answer.

Thanks for the answers guys.
