Right now, I’m using n-track with a PCI 128 soundcard. I want to expand what I'm doing.

Here are my needs:
I want to use a 4-channel mixer, with phantom power.
I already have a pair of powered monitors with ¼ inch and XLR inputs.
I don’t want to spend more than $200 on a sound card.
Are there particular soundcards should I consider?
Any other considerations?

Thanks for any advice!
Drew

I think that your cheapest bet, if 4 tracks is what you're after, is the Delta 66 at $230.

You might ask this question in the Computer Recording and Soundcards forum.

Thanks for the advice - I'll try the computer recording forum and see what I get.

www.digitalproaudio.com has the Delta 44 for $215....get somebody to price match it that offers free shipping and you are only killing your budget by $15.......

btw, do you have the mixer already?...if so, which one?....
