Sound Proofing My Entire Apartment!!!

I have noise complaints from my neighbors and ive already asked the owner of the building if i can destroy or whatever a wall or add whatevr into a wall and he said yes... (Hes a good friend) So i would like to know what i can do or what i can add into my walls. INCLUDING Ceiling to stop noise from reaching the other apartments... i play music loud and have parties... what can i do? :confused:

i Also need the sound proofing for one of my main rooms that i record in... i wouldnt ask how to sound proof a house on a studio site.... if it had nothing to do with a studio.....
 
You simply will not be able to sound-proof your apartment without significant (and very expensive) re-construction of the entire apartment. It just won't be practical - particularly if you're renting (and I doubt the landlard would allow such an undertaking anyways, since the apartment would essentially have to be gutted and re-built.)

Moving into a house that is completely separated from your neighbors is a much more viable option....
 
The ONLY thing that will "sound-proof" is extreme mass.
