just sorta getting to grips with sound forge and was wondering can anyone tell me how do you reduce the kinda fuzz on the recording

i think its just a matter of using a noise gate but am not sure

ive recorded an acoustic guitar and its almost , for want of a better phrase, the noise of the air , that im trying to elliminate.

im not sure how well ive described my problem but if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

thanx

There's a noise reduction plug-in, but it costs extra, I think.

It's pretty good though, especially if you're willing to settle for a typical noise floor, rather than a perfect one - weird warbly sound if you overdo it...

Play with your eq settings. reduce some of your higher freq, but not too much were it kills your guitar sound.
