Hello again all. I'm just trying to keep every one informed. So here it is the long awaited and kept ultra secret.

Oh and a little piece of advise. Keep the "send me news and updates" box checked. I received an offer to purchase a full version of Sound Forge 5.0 for $49.95 when it was first released just because I had left that box checked. Sonic Foundry is good about giving back to their customers.

Not ready for prime time

OK- this product couldn't load ANY files: claimed that there wasn't enough memory for this task. This on a PII-450 w/ 128 MB.
And 85% of that FREE. And they want $400?

And it crashed hard enough to require a restart to get any audio functional in other applications.

They claim all that is needed is a P200 and 32 MB.
 
Must be time released software, 'cause it worked fine when I clicked on it today. Cakewalk syndrome.
 
The magnification feature which creates a graph of EACH sample is mighty cool! The virtual zoom that they never had!
