ok guys how can i tell if my audio card is sounfont compatible or not because when i look in sonar soundfont is blanked out so im assuming that that means no soundfont capability. i have my stock card in a hp its a riptide, soundblaster copy. so i guess ill have to use dxi.doesnt drumagog do this to, replace the sounds. but the problem im having is that i use the piano roll to write my drums so how do i use drumagog when i gott a snare and all the other drum sounds going in one track, i supose i could put each instrument on a seperate track. anyway thanks.

...well, if your card doesn't support Soundfont, you can use Livesynth Pro DXi bundled with your SONAR CD installation. It turns your soundcard to use Soundfont... Very easy to use.

always wondered what that was for lol. thanks a million james.

As far as I know, only the SoundBlaster models from the AWE32 on, and perhaps one of the Terratec models at one time, support Sound Fonts directly. But LiveSynth and a couple of other softsynth/samplers will allow you to use Sound Fonts with any audio card.
