Sound Cards

Has any one tried recording with the soundblaster audigy platinum?
I am looking to buy a sound card that will record 24bit and also to be used as a multymedia card
Any sugestions?

Audigy's are basically gaming cards. Not really specifically designed with recording in mind. This topic has been overbeaten here.
Take a look at the m-audio cards for a better choice for recording purposes.
