This song is called 'The General' by Dispatch. I cut it short to get some quick feedback.

I recorded the vocals and guitar at the same time, but only mic'd the vocals. How does it sound? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Considering you were only micing the vocals, the guitar doesn't sound that bad. But, because of the micing, when the vocals come in, they're a bit loud compared to the guit. That's not such a bad thing since you have an AWESOME voice. This song, well produced, will be killer, I love this kind of stuff and you have the perfect voice to tell that kind of story.

I agree with RAMI. Great voice dude. You must have been doin' this sort of stuff for a while, right?

With a voice like that, you've gotta hang a mic over that guitar, find a drummer and bass twiddler (or some way to improvise them), and get some tunes down.

Great stuff.

Have fun

yeah turn the vocals down, other than that the vocals and guitar sound awesome

Nice!!! Get the levels a bit more even, and this will sound even better. I love the voice. Nice playing, but I agree with the others, voice is really good. I envy you... :D

Thanks Dogman! Comments very much appreciated. And yes, I need to get another mic so I can sing and record at the same time and still have the mix sound good... I'm workin on saving the money!

Any donations?? :D
