I know nothing about USA. :p

I just find it hard to believe that a person who registered on this BBS two days after this thread had it's last post, ordered a CD from COTK.

I assure you it was only a coincedence. I was only trying to involve mysefl somehow and that was the first that that popped up.

Are you guys not getting his CD because of the fear of SPAM? Or Him sending your junk mail to your house? I guess I didn't think about that, but so far nothing bad has happened. (Unless he was responsible for the Blaster Virus..which did seem to take place right after that, but....I don't think so!)

What I did get was some very good music for free.

No. We are not getting his CD because we know nothing about it. We dont know if it is rap, country, atonal, etc.

If "He" would post an MP3 on Nowhere Radio, we could hear "his" music. It wouldnt cost him a cent, and it would save him the money of sending a CD that might be tossed in the trash if it wasnt my genre of music.

Dave is right, fellow :)
I mean, if he introduce himself propherly (opposite to "screaming" :D ) and included his sample (even in mp3 format) then we can actualy hear what this all about, and know how to respond. I didn't assume his music is bad at all, in fact, mishappen seems like it alot. But the way of he does "marketing" needs a bit adjustment... :)

Good point Jaymz. I'd also like to take a look at the menu before I order :)

What David and James said.

I don't fear spam, it's a problem in my mail-box allready. I don't need it on the board too. And I don't buy CDs from a screaming idiot claiming that this is the best album since Dark Side of the Moon was released (because "I rather people have the real deal").

And when you're getting into a BBS, you don't buy the CD from someone with two posts. You post on the board!

I'M NOT YELLING THIS IS JUST HOW I TYPE IN ALL CAPS THAT'S JUST ME AND I'M NOT SPAMMING EITHER I'M JUST TRYING TO SHOW SOME LOVE AND SHARE MY MUSIC WITH FELLOW MUSICANS AND THOSE WHO USE THE SAME SOFTWARE I DO GET SOME FEEDBACK ,AND SHARE IDEAS IS THAT A CRIME? IS THERE NO ONE OUT THERE WHO WANTS TO TAKE A LISTEN?

Yeah, you and ten thousand other wanna be's that are producing their own CD's and nobody cares. Anyway, if I want to hear a good CD, I'll make one.

Lesson learnt : If you want to hear a good CD, tell djc to make one...

I was right, wasn't I

:D :D :D

I received your CD a few days ago. Wow I'm impressed! It encourages me to push forward, knowing what can be done with Sonar. Your sound is full and awesome. I tried your CD in my van on the way to work. I was surprised to see that I didn't have to crank the volume up past 20. (the volume I listen to MOST of my music comportably). Once in a while, in like the back ground vocals it almost sounds like they are distorting. But not to noticably. You have either had some formal training or are incredably gifted. Or probably more likely both.
I'm by far no expert, but I enjoyed listening to it several times in a row, my kids all liked it, And my son...? I'm not sure what to think of those funky white boy movements your music made him do.
lol

Thanks for the Music!!!
dana

YOUR WELCOME DANA, AND NO I HAD NO FORMAL TRAINING I'VE JUST BEEN BLESSED AND GIFTED BY GOD TO DO WHAT I DO. KEEP PUSHIN FORWARD AND WORKING ON YOUR MUSIC CRAFT.

THANKS 4 THE LOVE

Yes.

It actually started in the 1800s. Back then, people sent smoke signals to say how crappy Behringer mixers were.

I joined in 1973. It wasnt as fun, because we did everything by mail. I would have a question about my Fender Rhodes, would mail it to Al Chuck. He would Mail it to Dachay, dachay would mail it to Moskus, Moskus to James Argo, then back to me. It took four months, but it was worth the wait, dag nabit:)

LMAO :D

I didn't join until 1976, and it took me 11 years to lose my newbie status. It was very hard in those days to get alot of posts becuase you were using the mail and you were required to send all your canceled stamps to Dragon in order to get credit for your posts.

This, of course, was before the Hey Moskus chain letter was invented, which IMHO was used by a lot of people to simply pad their post count.

The forum topics back then were
- Stereo, will it last?
- tape splicing
- 33-1/3, will it replace 78?
- Customizing your '57 Chevy

LOL! Yeah, those were the days! No rat-race for us! :D

C.O.T.K Wow this is a fantastic production, several of the 21 songs are absolutely pro quality. Some of the vocalists if not pro should be. Ive listened to it just under 10 times so far and I would say that the weakest points, Only In a few songs, would be the percussion, :) surprise, I think we all struggle with percussion. The Snare is a little wierd sounding in a few songs and also a few songs could use some more punch in the kick and bass. I especially liked the song style from 4-10, but thats my personal preference , Kind of motown/r&b. Your group obviously has a lot of talent and you have done an excellent job of capturing that in Cakewalk.
I really think you should post a couple of the 21 songs to give the folks here a taste of the recording quality and the style.
I would not skirt around the fact that this has a Strong Christian content IN fact I would be proud to exclaim THIS CD HAS A STRONG CHRISTIAN CONTENT heathens, mockers and athiests beware. That is unless they are mature enough to critique it on its recording merits and not the great message.
BTW About the message,Bravo, I have never heard a CD compilation quite like this. Excellent job
Not all the songs are played in a genre that I usually listen to ,BUT even those outside my usual genre are done in such a way as to not be annoying, This is probably more due to my age than and a lack of true understanding of what the youg folks listen to today, but of the tracks that are aimed at the young hiphopish type (I guess thats a rough classification of a few songs) crowd I have to say Its about the best Ive heard.

AT LEAST ITS NOT RAP:D :D :) :D

I can NOT do rap!!!
It includes a nice assortment of styles

I'm glad you sent it to me
PS all that I have shared it with are impressed with the work you did.
Its far better than mine
Peace
Bill

Moskus, my " english is my second language, but I can spell better than most of the english-speaking dudes here" friend, this is not irony. It is Sarcasm.

I would be glad to respond in Norwegian, I listened to "Norwegian Wood" by the Beatles, therefore I am an expert on Norway.:)

BTW, I was not quoting you. Your english is amazing. Are you actually in Hoboken, and faking it?:D :D
