I suppose, back in the 1800's, if I'd provided some ukelele overdubs to a piece by Thomas Alva Edison entitled Mary Had A Little Lamb, I could have posted it in the Wax Cylinder BB. :)

The only trouble is of course that the cylinder would have got squashed in the mail.

Hmm, I wonder if that's how the grammophone disc was invented?

Lighten up

Hey I got a FREE CD from COTK ( the king is JESUS) and he even paid the postage. The CD is an excellent effort but we can and should offer some tips on how to improve it. I believe that is all he asked.

If someone for whatever reason does not want his music to be put on the web as an MP3, then doesnt he have that right?

You also have the same right to Not hear it if the only way you can hear it is to give him your address for him to mail his work to you.

I can tell you from what I listened to, that he is dedicated to spreading a message of Christian beliefs (which I share)encapsulated in song. And postage paid!
What a galant effort he has made and shame on us for nitpicking that effort. We listen to lots of real garbage sometimes (my submissions included) and most here are not insulting or rude.

I actually started out also typing in CAPS because it was easier for me to read but was informed that it is not polite and ceased to do that ! because It was no big deal to me.

I personally have found the general tone of this thread out of character for those of us who usually participate in such a helpful and unselfish way in this forum.

Hes a musician who wants feedback and those who would care to comment on his compositions should. Those who don't should not impose on his free choice of FREE distribution.( at his expense)
You dont have to become a Christian to listen to this stuff but you also dont have to become a satanist to listen to some of the other stuff which shows up from time to time.

After all this is about music which usually expresses who people are and there personal preferences, beliefs and lif stories. All of us desire to improve the quality of our self expression and we are dedicated to that to varying degrees.

COTK , maybe drop the caps out of courtesy, but share your music in any way you please.

Your stuff is very good and your mission is admirable. Hang on in here a bit and you'll see that this place is alot like a family and I for one would be glad to have your feedback in the forum.

"1974" obviously hes been a member of dedicated Christians since then.

COTK speak up and explain yourself when someone doesnt get what you post:)

COTK, Ive got a compliment for you on your cd today from a guy at work I gave one to. He said of all the cd's hes bought lately THIS is the one he likes best ! Hes does some urban youth ministry so I told him to go ahead and make some copies if he wants too, since the cover stated that it is free to share I figured this was ok with you.
I wondered if you Could you e-mail me a copy of the cover which is also an excellent job, so I can print out covers for them? And also promotes the sharing.

I just heard on the news today that Oslo was determined to be the most expensive city on earth. It beat out Tokyo and New York City.

Must be the smoked fish, and having to buy fuel to keep you warm. :D
