Sonar LE with Amplitube X Gear

Trying to record my guitar using SONAR LE

I have added the Amplitube add in for the FX using the Amplitube drive sound yet after recording all I record the clean guitar sound only

Any ideas why this is ?

I can hear that Amplitube is working as I have a good overdrive sound but the recording is only the clean guitar

Have I missed a setting somewhere ?

Not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but.... The recorded track will stay as a clean guitar. Amplitube is a processor and alters the clean guitar track then sends it to your master buss (or where ever else you might have selected, but most likely the master buss). It doesn't record over your clean guitar track. And this method is desirable. If for any reason, you wanted to change the tone of your guitar, all you have to do is change the parameters in amplitube and you wouldn't have to retrack the guitar part.

If you were to render the track or freeze it, then the track will be processed by Amplitube. But you don't have to do that, really. Rendering or freezing a track is to help lighten the load off the cpu.
