I'm running Sonar 1.3 with Audiophile 2496 (and SB Live Platinum for SoundFonts) in Windows 2000 (with the latest drivers for Audiophile 2496).

Now, Sonar doesn't show any of the Audiophile output devices (it does show SB Live Wave Out). Even when I disable SB Live driver and rerun the Wave Profiler, Sonar still wouldn't show any Audiophile Outs. :(

If anyone has some thoughts on this, please shed me some lights !!... I really appreciate your help ...

Thanks !!!

I think you get this behavior if one of your sound cards has WDM drivers, but the other doesn't. Sonar will only pick up the card with the WDM drivers.

Possible solutions:
- get WDM drivers for your Delta card
- enable "use MME drivers even when WDM are present" in Sonar's audio options
- get MME-only drivers for your SB Live (if you have the original installation disk, I think the MME drivers are in the Win 95 drivers folder. You can use them even if you're not running Win 95. I use these with Win ME, as the MME drivers just seem to make the SB Live card perform better for me - latency aside).

One or all of the above should work for you.

Thank you !!!

Thank you for your help, dachay2tnr & c7sus ...

I reinstalled the Audiophile WDM drivers from the original CD and VOILA !!... All the Device Outputs are there ...

But now the SB Live is ..mad at me ... :)... OH, well ...I guess I'll have to spend some times with ..her then !!!

Once again ...Thanks !!... You guys are great !!!
