OK, I learned something new here, and because everyone was being so generous, I hit almost everyone who posted in this thread (with rep points)! :D

And Brad Blackwood doesn't have any rep points last I looked.
I have no idea what 'rep points' are, but think it's neat that I'm a newbie..

Would be interesting if you posted a newbie-like question to see what advice you received, but I guess that's just being mean ...

i dropped some rep on the bluebear for his first post in here and it sent him to 19 rep power...sweet....be sure to feed the bear with a long pole though....i hear they run fast if they smell food on ya

Just remember that kodiak bears don't climb trees... so every half mile or so look over your shoulder and try to identify what kind of bear it is.

i dont see myself being put in that situation thank god....unless a bear decides to hang out in the middle of downtown and then its not me he should be worried about....it'd be the large number of SUVs driven by soccer moms on cell phones.....i cringe at the idea of crossing the street sometimes

Man you guys are lookin generous.....mixing is the process of combining all tracks into one stereo track.....there....now can i get a "friggin" rep point. :p

Quick question. How do you give people rep points? Haha I have no idea how the flip to do it.

I'm being dead serious.
Can someone tell me? If you do, I'll give you a rep point! :)

shut it master you got enough rep points :D ...besides you didnt go into to detail....to really give rep points you have to click on the scale on the uppers right hand of the posters text box (Elmo89m) and click the scale. and then firmly click i approve

... and I think it's neat that someone of your experience and ability would take the time to come over here and help out those of us trying to learn something!

That's quite true, assuming a professional/experienced mixing engineer.... but for a mix by with a novice with only a 3630 to strap across the buss, well, you get the idea.... better off in the hands of the ME! ;)

LOL, I hear ya about the 3630. I'm curious though, I'd like to hear from the pros hear what compressors would be considered "good enough" to use as a 2-buss compressor. I mean, I know something like a Manley Vari-MU would be great, but that ain't happening for me for awhile since the wife just bought me the HD-24 (that was quite a surprise). Is there a point down the price scale a bit where someone makes an "acceptable" 2-buss unit that doesn't break the bank? Thanks.
