something about don't save as mp3

some guy told me after i finish a song not to save and export into an mp3 file. he said to first save it as a wave file, then convert into an mp3 file? why though, adobe audition automatically turns it into an mp3 file for you.

Because MP3's are a data compression type of file and throw away data. The wav file keeps all that data intact.

Use the wav to burn an audio CD. Save it separately as an mp3 for the web.
