mic > tascam > computer

all you need is a standard xlr cable to hoop the mic up to the tascam then usb to the computer. only cords you need is an xlr, the ub cord and a power cord.

I'm losing it! How the %^^&%&^&$ do you get this stuff and have absolutely no idea what plugs into what?

Guess you will have to go back to that house, kick in the back door and take the manual with the stuff this time?

Don't do it, man. Don't do it. I still have nightmares that I re-enlisted... 20 years later. :(

Yeah and they probably wouldn't have me back anyway, too old for the fun stuff now.
Oh well, interwebs it is then

I did read the manual. I just cant figure it out do i need more cables? Another box??? My tascam 1641 connects via usb to my laptop. I connected my microphone xlr to the audio interface. Why wont it record on audacity or sony acid pro 6

The "easy" way strikes again. I guess next time you may do a bit of research.

Read the info on audacity and it should tell you how to arm the track. No spoon feeding here. Do work!

could always read the sticky like the rest of us noobs did!!
