I love this....proof positive that rock-n-roll lives on despite the best efforts of the corporate greed heads to dictate what's cool to them what "just don't get it".

I don't have anything to contribute more than what other people have already said, but thats a great song.

i think some of the new psychobilly bands would be jealous man.

Sweet sounds all around.
Makes me want to dance since surfing hurts.
Vox sound good too. I dig stupid lyrics, stupid lyrics can be great (if you ask me) They fit the fun mood here.
Sweet ride Greg :D

Wow, excellent tune. Great sounding verb and slap back.

Nice recording too, very well done.

Cool tune dude.

Listening on pc speakers at the moment, sounds clean and clear on them.

I really like the sound of the drums and cymbals, specially the ride it's comming across with a real nice sounding musical "ting" (don't know how to describe it).
Your vocals are so clear and up-front, dig the doubling in the chorus, sounds great !

You have a real knack for mixing, the mix sounds great on this, was that learned or just came natural ?

I'm gonna have to pick your brain about some of that later when I can listen more in depth and on a better system :)

Thanks man. I have no mix secrets. I just turn knobs, push buttons, and move faders until I like what I hear. Ears don't lie. If it doesn't sound right, then it isn't. I do spend a lot of time on mic positioning and getting the best source sound possible. I might record a quick guitar lick or snare hit 30 times to find the sound I like. :p

If it ain't got slap bass it ain't psycho-billy. And don't listen to that silly old fitz guy.

i like the tune, except the vocals. I was expecting something a tad more Elvisish'.

Mix, Playing, and writing is really good. Good solo, as psycho as they get.

Ps. I hate you because yer stuff sounds so good.

I don't do Elvis sounding vocals. I'm not quite that cheesy. :D

Thanks though. :)

Never heard any of your others, I think? for comparison yet,

I like it, sounds like it belongs on the soundtrack to a cheasy 80's high school monster flick. only one problem. I can't help but feel like I've heard that exact music before (even the solo). it sounds great but also sounds "been done" sticking to the guidelines of a genre is one thing, duplicating the sound is exactly another.

The mix is impressive, the tones of all the instruments sound great.
overall I did enjoy it and the lyrics are great IMO.

If you're accusing me of ripping someone off, I don't appreciate that. It's based on a simple 1-4-5 progression. Everyone in the universe has used a variation of that chord progression at some point. Maybe that's why you think you heard it before. If that's not what you meant, then okay. I sincerely appreciate the rest of your feedback. Writing songs is not easy for me. :o

I have had a few listens Greggles and I'll be back with some feedback shortly! I need a poo.

No, I wasn't accusing you of stealing, sorry.

If someone sounds exactly the same as what I've heard before, I always have to say it. People always sound somewhat the same as there influences, that's in-escapable and some more than others, but every part of this except the lyrics made me feel like I've heard it before. It's not just the progression, it's the tones - underlying rhythm - solo - drums, all, whether origanally arranged separate or together sounded - like I said "been done"

I have a friend who is a great sounding musician, but everything he writes has that "been done" sound, He get's mad when I tell him that and insists it's original, but it's not.

I'm sure a lot of what I do sounds alot like my influences to, I try not to let that happen to blatently though. like I said... It's in-escapable.
