hey...how ' bout some pictures or something on the walls in that control room to help maintain the sanity level?? looks kinda bare.....nice equipment list though...where is it in the pics?

Yes the surface is the PARIS Control 16 ;-)


The room is totally and completely tuned. I spent about 1,500 bucks getting the room sounding good. Including the new tile on the ceiling. The pictured difusers and foam in the corners are just to capture the sound reflecting from the monitors. The special tile on the ceiling and the carpet on the floor help out quite a bit. And the nice thing is my room is not square. I also have foam all over the room as needed. I had a friend who happens to have done about 4 Major label albums in town come over and help me finish up with the fine tweaking, he found quite a few things I missed. But together I think we got it sounding pretty good.
 
I think you got a darn good sound on that guitar/vocal sample on your site. What's your audio chain on that on? Mic-preamp-soundcard etc.

I'm keen to know how you got to this point.. I'm only 19.. trying to make some difficult decisions about which way to go..
