The dual-capsule MXL 604 SDC is on sale for $40 at PSSL. The LDC V67GS (a V67 with 6dB pad and rolloff) is on sale for $60 (while the plain version without these extras is $95---go figure).

I do not like PSSL's shipping charges (but free for ≥ $150).

Same price on Amazon, it's a steal for 39 bucks, with 2 capsules.

And 179$ on ebay, but you get a wooden case!

I was just thinking of a post too. MXL 9000 Tube with supply for $149.99
Ordered on GC pay tax....Musicians Friend save $12 no tax...

Mixed reviews like the ART stuff, get a good one they're great and last 15yrs...others hum out of the box and you start the shipping hell game, which I suppose can happen to anything but maybe more so on super-high selling units.

Still...$149 for a tube mic, with cable and power supply....mmm if its a good one?
