I think this is my best singing so far. Been practicing quite a bit. Let me know your thoughts. I think Im doing harmony on the verses, or is it a octave above? If it is harmony, its very wierd because that came naturally when recording the song. I never thought it was something I could ever do.

Octave

Nice tune. You are actually singing an octave higher and not harmony.I cant comment on the tune because I know absolutely nothing about Electronica.

cool vocal sound. I dont think that's harmony though.

The guitars sound a bit abrasive.

nice track

funk on!

Harmony would be a fifth or third, right?

That would constitute as harmony (the fith and third)...However, if you we're to get more involved in music theory you would find that it is not always the fifth and third that make harmonies....Depending on the melody there may be many different ways to create harmonies...some more dissonant than others.....However, the fifth and the third would be a good place to start :)

- nave (who didn't listen to the tune..because of a crappy connection, sorry)

Good vox. Cool tune too. Kind of Duran Duran on steroids. The hat thing/cymbals are a bit hot but the over all sound is pretty damn good.

Thanks for the replies and the ears. I am finding that confidence is 80% of the battle. So I am trying to sing with more of it.

If some people have heard some of my earlier stuff, they would probably find a lot of holding back on my part.

Practice-Practice-Practice

Thanks again!

PS - I heard a bunch of references to 80's music with a lot of my songs. I think the 80's was cool but cheesy most of the time. Im sure Im influenced by it, but are my songs cheesy?

I wouldn't call them cheesy (Oh the power of cheese!), but they do have that 80's club sound.

No... I mentioned this once before, but it's kinda like 'Orgy.' It has a bit of an 80's feel but it's harder. (btw I like Orgy) Same thing with 'Love and Happiness' but it's darker.....maybe that's why I like it better. I'm not a good vocalist by any measure, but when I lay down vocals, I make sure that the music is quite loud so I'm not afraid to sing loudly. I try to get a headphone mix similar to what a 'live mix' would be. I mean I try to sing as loud as I would if it was being played live...... I don't know..... cool tunes dude.

BTW- how could you say the 80's were cheesy? Think of all the good 'metal' man.:)

I do like some 80's music, but when I think of the true 80's, I think of Duran Duran, Devo and Eurithmics stuff and dont really associate it with my music. I only know one Orgy song and thats Blue Monday. Do all their songs sound like that one?

To B Sab: Metal will never die!

"Im sick of all the bands tuning down to "C" and singing like the Cookie Monster" - Dave Mustaine

I read an article in a Guitar World or something and when he commented on the new style of heavy music I laughed my butt off. It is so true!

Later and thanks for the compliments.

Pretty good songs man, I understand the orgy comment and I dont think it's really a bad thing, I like orgy, I also like MEGADETH.
