Hey hows it going.
I am having a few problems and if you have the time i would appreciate any help.
Here's my setup:
I have a Korg Electribe SX, Tannoy Reveal X monitors, an Alesis RA150 amplifier (not shown), and a Motu 828 MKII (also not shown).
The speakers at the top on the shelf are connected to a DVD amplifier under my desk, which is connected to the computer from the speakers output.
Ok, so my problems.
Basically, my sound works then doesnt work. Say if its all working fine and i've finished playing around, ill switch off the MOTU, the amp, and the Korg.
Then i would come back to it all later, switch it all on, and ill have no sound.
The korg is connected to the MOTU on the rear inputs 1+2. The motu's main outputs are connected to the Amplifier. When i play the korg, the motu's input meters read show the signal coming through, but i hear nothing.
Then sometimes, not all the time the korg will be playing, then it'll just turn to digital noise for a few seconds, and just screeches at me. So il restart it and it'll play.
I think the problem is the motu's output. It works then it doesnt.
If i restart everything, including my pc, then it seems to solve the problem. But obviously, i dont want this to be the solution everytime.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Anyone know how to solve it, or what i am doing wrong?
