The background track sounded well mixed and put together. The guitar tone on the lead is way to direct sounding for me. It sounds out of place. Thanks for the listen.

It's hard to take a backing track that's already complete (and from the sound of it professionally recorded/mixed) and then add a guitar on top of it and make it work. Not a bad job at all, but even if you hadn't mentioned it I would have guessed that's what this was. Is the guitar recorded direct? It does have that quality to it. Tasteful playing, but sorta repetitive song wise after the first couple minutes. Maybe a little less distortion and try for a more natural sounding lead tone with something like this. Might fit into the mix better. Just a thought.
 
thanks for your thoughts on this guys honestly.. it's not my best.. but it's also not my worst but i know i can do alot better.. it's the best i've recorded since sunday though.. lol... i'm kinda taking a break from it know trying to get my senses back in somewhat good standing.. long story.. i'll explain later.. but thanks again..
