It's hard to take a backing track that's already complete (and from the sound of it professionally recorded/mixed) and then add a guitar on top of it and make it work. Not a bad job at all, but even if you hadn't mentioned it I would have guessed that's what this was. Is the guitar recorded direct? It does have that quality to it. Tasteful playing, but sorta repetitive song wise after the first couple minutes. Maybe a little less distortion and try for a more natural sounding lead tone with something like this. Might fit into the mix better. Just a thought.
