Dark Side Of Hell....Very cool Walter. Really digging this tune. Excellent vibe.
Love the whole thing.

Time Slipping......Very upbeat feel to it. I really like this one also. Has a nice vice. Really shuffles along.
Good tunes. Thanks for sharing.

I Was Born..... true acoustic blues man, well done. Can't say I've heard better. That 1938 guitar sure has a good sound. The overall sound of this one is bold, clean and clear, Well sung, played and recorded too.... Right On!

thanks for the feedback! I am using the EH pre amps, a couple of AKG C414's and a pair of oktava m-012's. They seem to work well together. That guitar is a dream. You can chord it all the way up the neck, and the action is just right for slide too.

I have a question. When I try to record my 1 man band, with the acoustic, or my national steel resonator, I get way to much vocals, and drums/cymbals, in the guitar mics. I am using the narrowest setting on the mics(I never can remember the jargon word), and short of putting up some baffales between the guitar and drums/vocals, which would be really hard, because I do it all live, is there anything I can do to bring up the guitar? If you listen to some of the 1 man band acoustic stuff, you will hear what I mean. THanks! Walter

Walter, you might try some compression, and see if that helps. It might just make the drums louder, and really mess things up. You could also try and eq some of the drums out, as long as that doesn't interfear with the guitar tone.
Just a couple of thoughts to try.

thanks dogman! I will try the compression. I tried eq'ing the drums out, but the guitar tone got all messed up. Walter
