Software Update for MR8 (red version)

I dug out my red Mr-8 and need latest firmware

Now that I have a place to play/record acoustic drums, time to get back on the recorder. I need some help finding 1.21

I appreciate it in advance if anyone can help. Thx.

Can anyone here help me out with the latest software update for the red Fostex MR8 (Mark 1) too? I can't find it anywhere! I know it's really out of date now but I just picked one up second-hand.

I'm trying to transfer wavs from my mac to the mr8 using the latest WavManager from the Fostex site... It seems to go through the right motions in that I get the little 'PC to MR' wheel spinning whilst the wav transfers, the wheel stops (file finished transferring?) but then nothing ends up on the desired track in song I was transferring too?!

My MR8 is running v1.1 and I'm hoping an upgrade will fix this?

The link to the firmware update is in my previous post. Read, damn your eyes!

I tried the jp link to the update... not found... then I just entered the file name in Google and presto!!

mr8v121.zip

pfft.. I am such a newb here it won't let me post the URL... but you're smart...
 
A link to that file has been right here on this page in front of your eyes for 5 months, dude.
 
Same file. Not sure why you have such an aversion to one link as opposed to another, but whatever. :)
 
Oh, I get it. This is a troll thread. Nobody really wants the file. The joke is to keep asking for it. :laughings:

No problem. Now maybe people will see it's legit and quit asking people to personally e-mail it to everyone who comes along. :laughings:
 
Is there any chance of also getting ahold of that software update? I just got my hands on a MR-8 (Red) with the 1.01v installed. Thanks! Can't wait to get it up and running. I haven't been able to find anything that will work from Fostex.
