soft floor, hard ceiling

My new mixing room has carpeted floor and hard ceiling (very slightly textured paint).
The room is about 14' x 12' x 8' (L x W x H).
I'm wondering how much acoustic treatment I would need on the ceiling.

(I'm already planning on placing 4" OC 702 rigid fiberglass on the walls and at least 2 bass traps).

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.

A ceiling cloud (at least 2" thick rockwool) above your mixing position.

After putting the ceiling cloud above the mix position, try an office chair mat (large one if you can get it) or a sheet of wood under where you sit. Helps with not having the room sound too dead. Oh and protects the carpet.
