Just working on a new drum mic setup. Thought I would click through 5 to 10 songs for comparison. What hit me first is how diverse the drum sounds where, The next thing that hit me with the newer the songs was how much more garbage the mix contained. I mean junk low end garbage.
Even songs that are 80% electronic could not keep it clean in the lower Hz's. I swear it is taking it's tole on music. I find my self caught up in it too now and again
