Yo At & T & F:

ANYTHING BUT ALESIS. I had one of those Alesis boards a while back. Sold it quickly. Small screen, blurred vision, ugly controls, not worth much. If you note the prices, Alesis keyboards are cheap. Why? They aren't much.

Im probely goin get the xp-30 for 500$ used..............yall think thats a good idea???

alesis!

oh i disagree big time.

Alesis' Q-Card series is perfect. My friend plays shows every week, in a surf-rock band, a "surf-haradcore" band, and a school jazz band. With his Alesis QS (7 i think?).....he plays all and it sounds GREAT. He's never had a problem with it - and there are tons and tons of sounds.

qs6 feedback

I've had the Alesis QS6 for several years now, and in retrospect would call it a good "starter" board. IOW: I used to like it more than I do now. But for what I paid, it was a good used deal, but I've outgrown it.

It's served me well, but now I don't care much for the piano or string sounds, or the feel of the unweighted keys. Go with weighted keys.

Anyone want to buy a nice used qs6?
