So, is anyone interested in recording some singing?

So, I want to here how you guys would sing to one of our songs. Here are the lyrics for the song:


After about 4mins, we have it instrumental, but do as you wish!

You sure do have to jump though a lot of hoops just to get the song to download. Popups, sound effects, secret codes, timers? Geez, what a pain in the ass! :( If I were you I would choose a better site for hosting songs.

The song sounds cool but, a writer/arranger I am not. All I do is mix ‘em, (live or recorded.) I just thought I would take a listen anyway. Good luck with it.

Yeah it's a good tune, not my style so I'll pass...but I hope you find someone to sing on this for you. You've done a really nice job on the playing and the recording....

unfortunately, it was not I who recorded it, this was about a year ago, and we had won some free recording time in a crappy battle of the bands, but the studio was pretty nice.
 
do u have an idea of how you want it to sound? a when you want the vocals to cvome in etc, im willing to give it a try :)
 
Well, the way we have it right now, the vocals come in when the guitar drops out and its just drums and bass mainly. But, you could do whatever you want with it! I want to hear how you would do it!
 
This reminds me of old Queensryche or Iron Maiden. Do you have .wav files of the song? If you do, would it be ok to chop the song up and maybe arrange it
differently? Seriously, I'm not trying to bash your song–I really like it, but I'm
trying to fit your lyrics into it and it seems like it's a little long, IMHO. Either way, cool song.
 
I could try to get it into a .wav. Are you planning on doing some singing???
 
Yeah, I'd like to give it shot. Just don't expect to be absolutely blown away.
 
well, i cant get it to a .wav, but if you record the singing, I could chop it up in audacity or something if i feel like it, or you could if you want to.
 
No problem, I just used your mp3 and loaded the file into protools. I've already
added some vocals, so hopefully I'll be able to give you an mp3 sometime this week.
 
oh yeah, nevermind the unhappy face, I'm not sure what the fuck I did.ha!
 
Sorry to take so long to post, but I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your version. It was good. Its cool hearing someone elses view on it.
