run into quite a few biggies in my time and opened for a few. but
here at my day gig(networking) i always have to coordinate setups with the head maintenance guy whose name is Gator. don't know if ya remember him or not but he was the guy in the Urban Cowboy movie that taught peeps to country dance. yup,he's just a regular guy---kinda redneck.

Sorry. I guess the point wasn't who the guy is or how famous he was . . . just that he was so damn gifted, and it took me by surprize. I mean, I've had good bands in here, but most of the guys who come here to sing on top of pre-recorded music are the ones who are bringing karaoke tracks to record something for their boyfriend's birthday or their sister's wedding.

I just checked a couple of his tunes on his web site. You're right, he has a MONSTER voice.
