Just another guy, really.
So... am I doing good?
... you ask? Someone with religious beliefs similar to yours would probably say you were, whereas someone who has a different view of spirituality and religiosity might feel otherwise. Now, as to the question, "Am I doing WELL?" I would say, "Meh, not bad."

The songs are rather bland- that includes the performance and the recording/mixing. Sorry, but there is nothing there with any spark. It's not that they are bad, they are just are not great. Frankly, I think the performance is the weak link, here- it's just putting me to sleep. (As I am a humanist, I can't really say much about the writing from a religious point, except to say it's obviously not speaking to me- but then, I am probably not the intended target. There- the full-disclosure thing is out of the way.

And I just gotta say this- that is NOT "Gospel" music. Not even close. It's Christian Pop- about as far from "Gospel" as Pat Boone is (and always was) from Rock n' Roll. If you are looking to market it, you are doing yourself a huge disservice by trying to call it "gospel." Your stuff will get lost in the wrong "bin" and no one will EVER hear it. I mean, really, can YOU imagine those songs being performed in Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta (MKL's pulpit, once-upon-a-time) on a Sunday morning??
