small problem

everything is now working fine..exept like i want to record..and switch to notepad to read lyrics (printer not workign right now) but whenever i switch from cubase..it doesnt play or record..i have to go back into cubase to record something...

how can i make it so i can push record and then go to a diff program and itll be fine?

You can edit the sound waves in Cubase, so just let it run, make the switch, and edit out the mouse clicks.

You could also memorize your words

Or hand write them. Back in the day, they were called pencils

see thats the problem...i cant click record and make the switch..because as soon as i do..it stops recording....

the lyrics are long..but i guess..lol

There is something that says 'release driver in background' in the devise setup. You need to uncheck that.

It is on the page where you select the ASIO driver.

You could also paste the lyrics into the notepad within Cubase.
