I downloaded the Slicy Drummer demo a while ago, but at the time could not afford the upgrade, so it expired. On teh Sonar CD , however, is Slicy Drummer Lite, but I can't get it to install over the Slicy Drummer demo .... which is expired.

Help?

Yes, for every demo expired, you should uninstall it before installing the full version :)

that was just so obvious I never thought of it....I kind of thought it would work like an upgrade where it just overwrites it....duh.

There are not stupid questions, only stupid people!

:D :D :D :D

You got that was a joke, right??
Seriously, we all do things like that, and never see the most obvious sollution. I know I do it all the time. ;)

Speaking of Slicy Drummer, has anyone noticed that when you have a drum track set up, patch in the SD, find a pattern you like, then 'drag from here' into your track, it makes a new window? This happens all the time. It's like it opens a new project when I drag the pattern into my drum track. Kinda pisses me off!!

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes, because it's not supposed to work that way... After you've programmed your drums, bounce the effect to track. ;)

I see what you mean. That should take care of that little crisis! Thanks

No problem!

I've done the exactly same mistake with the Rythm'n'Chords plugin... :)

What about VeloMaster? That one seems to make my puter stutter! I don't know why. I really like that plugin, but it definitely has an adverse effect on my system. PIII 600Mhz, 256 RAM, SB Live.

Well... you've aint got the strongest computer in the world. It's a rather demanding plugin (according to ComputerMusic). You can apply the effect directly to the clips...
